Steve Wewe

Instructor, Former Owner & Founder

Steve Wewe is the founder of Bee-Safe Driving School which opened in August 2005. He is an instructor in both the classroom and behind the wheel. He is a graduate of Miami University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. He also holds a Master of Education from Ball State University. He has been employed with the Franklin County School District for 30 years. He recently retired from teaching in June 2019. He has over 30 years of experience teaching driver’s education between the school system and his own private business. He was an assistant high school football coach and Head wrestling coach for many years at Franklin County High School. He has been married to his wife Cheryl for 30 years and they have 3 grown children- Ben, Matt, and Sarah.


 

MICHAEL REISER

Michael Reister

Instructor

Mike Reister is a 1997 graduate of Franklin County High School in Brookville, Indiana. After high school he attended Ball State University where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Education in December 2002. His teaching career began in Clarksville, Indiana teaching elementary physical education for three and a half years. After that experience he returned to Liberty, Indiana where he currently resides with his wife of 11 years, Ashley, and their three boys (Grady 9, Garrett 7, and Grant 2). He is currently employed by the Union County/College Corner Joint School District as the high school Alternative Education Coordinator/Physical Education/Health instructor where he has enjoyed this position for the last ten years. Through his time in education he has enjoyed the opportunity to gather many years of coaching experience at different age levels in baseball, football, basketball, wrestling, and archery. In 2017 he completed his Master's Degree in Education Administration and Supervision to become an administrator in education. He received his Driver Education Instructor Certification in August of 2018 and joined Bee-Safe Driving School at that time. He has enjoyed every mile on the road teaching students the fundamentals and necessary skills to become safe drivers. When he is not busy at school or driving, he enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors hunting, fishing and golfing.

Brice Sayne

Instructor

Brice was raised in Richmond, Indiana alongside his two brothers and sister. He graduated from Richmond High School, where he played football and wrestled. After graduation, he attended Earlham College to pursue a degree in Physical Education. While at Earlham, he played football for 4 years and was the team captain his junior and senior years. After graduating, he taught at Hemingway High School in South Carolina for two years until a position opened up at the Franklin County School Corporation. In 2002, he received his Master's Degree in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. He has been a teacher and coach in Franklin County for 33 years. He has coached football, wrestling, and track for most of his tenure at Franklin County. Brookville has been his home for the past 33 years where he raised two daughters, Cheyenne and Caitlyn, and has been blessed with three grandchildren: Austin, Zidane, and Macy. He enjoys working out and being outdoors.
